It’s no secret that Boone is one of our favorite mountain towns, possibly one of the best in North Carolina. With delicious restaurants and breweries to satisfy yourself after incredible mountain hikes and waterfalls, we are always ready to escape for a weekend.

The Blue Ridge Tourist Court is the oldest remaining roadside motel in Boone. The rooms are filled with vintage furniture, decor, and little details that make it even more special. Brian’s mom made all of the custom pillows, giving it a special family touch.
This is probably one of the most unique and cozy places to stay in Boone, and many memories are made and waiting for you to capture.

2. Boone Cocoon
Take glamping to the next level! The Boone Cocoon is for those who want a sense of adventure but in a dangling geopod. The hanging pod is 10 feet in diameter and is only five minutes from downtown Boone.
The cocoon is where you sleep, but there is a spacious deck with a solo stove. Take the hand-woven suspension bridge to the cocoon and fall asleep under the stars.
There is a hot outdoor shower available and an outhouse within walking distance.
