We are not advocating mass travel during this time, but we do want to continue to support the incredible businesses
and destinations that make North Carolina so amazing. In the meantime, we encourage you to virtually travel through our articles and plan your visits for when it is safe to do get out there. Finally, while we do work hard to keep our posts updated, some activities and places may not be accessible at this time.
Brevard NC and the rest of Transylvania County sit in a fortunately placed patch of Western North Carolina. It’s known for waterfalls but the town itself is certainly worth exploring.
Looking for things to do in Brevard? We’ve got you covered here for at least a weekend, an amazing place to stay (the Pines), and more in the Land of Waterfalls.

Getting to Brevard
Brevard isn’t far from some pretty major interstates, including I-40, I-26, I-85, and I-81. Google Maps is pretty handy for Downtown Brevard, but cell service can be pretty spotty in some parts. Just be prepared to use your GPS if you don’t know exactly where you’re going.
