Patisserie Cafe is an excellent place to grab breakfast in Mooresville and where we start this guide. Starting in the home kitchen of Elsa and Manuel, Patisserie has become a food institution in downtown Mooresville.
The breakfast menu features a lovely selection of quiches, omelets, waffles, and more. Patisserie Cafe also offers tasty sandwiches and salads if you’re in town later in the day.

Summit Coffee

Summit Coffee has cafes across the Southeast, but it started in nearby Davidson and has a location in Mooresville.
Known for ethically sourced coffee, Summit provides “bring your own mug” discounts, composts, and waste and energy audits.

Like Patisserie Cafe, we don’t want to sell this place short by only repping its breakfast. You can also grab a yummy sandwich or salad for lunch at Sun Up Cafe!

Another top-rated local favorite is Alino Pizzeria, a wood-fired Neapolitan pizza joint that only uses the best Italian ingredients. The pizzas here are enormous and could fill you up alone.

With two locations—one serving pizza (215 S Broad St. Mooresville, NC) and the other serving as their “Beer Lab” (225 S. Broad St, Mooresville, NC)—Ghostface Brewing has a rotating tap that suits all beer palates.
There’s also Scratch Kitchen by Ghostface at Langtree, with a huge food menu that includes flatbreads, sandwiches, salads, and much more!

Heavenly Hoagie

Heavenly Hoagie is a lifesaver, especially when driving on I-77 (Exit 36) or if you’re heading toward Lake Norman State Park from Mooresville. We’ve called upon them multiple times because you can’t beat their bread!
Grab your lunch to-go but you’ll need two hands to eat one Heavenly’s massive hoagies.

What-a-Burger #11

We close out lunch with an iconic Mooresville restaurant. The historic What-a-Burger #11 is a local favorite, as are all the other locations in NC.
The circa 1950 fast-food chain is known for its delicious burgers, onion rings, and Witch Doctor drink—which features all the sodas on the line plus pickle juice!

Of all the nice restaurants in Mooresville, we couldn’t leave out Table 31 in Langtree. This place has casual American dishes with a cocktail list that is more than impressive!
Share a grilled artichoke and leave plenty of room for the main course.
Prime rib cooked to perfection and beautiful yellowfin tuna are a preview of the delicious entrees waiting for you.
